Saturday August 22, 2009, Isis finally lost her almost 2 1/2 year long battle with severe heart disease. She went the best possible way... while running to play with her sisters in the back yard. Jen was with her so she wasn't alone. She was particularly feisty that day and would NOT be kept inside while her sisters were outside. :)
We are very sad, but we know how lucky we were to both have her in our lives and also to have those many extra months with her while she was sick.
