Fun Last Weekend!

We had a great time last weekend! Dayna is a friend of ours who we met several years ago at the Bristol Renaissance Faire. It's because of her and her charming Chihuahuas (shown with Bob here) that Laura realized she NEEDED a Chihuahua ;)

Last Saturday there was a party for many of the regulars of the Faire and we attended. Dayna comes to Faire all the way from Minneapolis! We convinced her to stay the night with us after the party.

Sad Day......

Sunday was a beautiful day... but marred by tragedy. Our good neighbors across the street had a horrible house fire! They are alright as they were out to breakfast, but they lost their beloved Scotty. Scotty was a WONDERFUL dog! I would watch him any time they went out of town. I'd bring him over to play with the Girls - he must have thought he was at the doggie Playboy Mansion. We were so sad to say goodbye to Scotty. We love you Buddy!!!

The Movie... The Last Mimzy

I'm not sure if you've seen the trailers for the movie: The Last Mimzy..... but I have to tell you why I am so excited about seeing this movie....

The story's main characters are a brother and sister... and a stuffed rabbit named Mimzy. Well... the bunny maker who made Mimzy for the movie... is a very good friend of mine!!

This bunny was NOT Daphne's typical soft sculpture style... but was a very unique and rewarding opportunity for her!
